That's what I was thinking, too, on all counts.

I was also thinking he should get a suit? Sometimes there's formal events here, and I've got at least some dresses, but he has pretty much nothing. I've got some experience with how they should fit and stuff, one of my friends from back home is a snooty rich kid.

Well, as much as I hate to suggest this, we might have to go our separate ways for a little while. At this point I would feel bad if I kept making you have me fly everywhere.
I'll go to Violet City so that I can finally get the badge to use Fly and we can meet up in Mahogany as soon as we're done with getting our badges. Then we can rent a nice place to spend the holidays together there.
And of course we can still talk to each other through the Pokegear.

[And true to his word, after an hour had passed he ends up at the Mahogany Town Pokecenter. Since he had already healed his Pokemon before flying here, he's just tending to his Altaria to make sure she's holding up fine after the long flight. She was but Perry couldn't help but worry since it was their first flight.]
