Hello everyone~! This is the newest member of my team, Ritsuko! Can you believe he's trying to learn how to dance? It's sooooo cute~!

[The Gear is panned over to several other Pokémon. An Eevee, Hoothoot, Flabébé, Espurr, and a Cleffa are playing around.]

Everyone here knows Himiko, of course! My Hoothoot is Fukuro, Sakuya is my Flabébé, Nanko is my Espurr's name, and Momomi is a Cleffa I got from a girl named Mimi! Momomi is adorable! She's attached to Sakuya, so she must love flowers.

[The Gear is turned now to Rise, who is pouting.]

I wanna get to Goldenrod as soon as possible. I've been here in Violet for a week now, and I need help! I don't want to travel all that way alone... Can someone help a girl out?

Action

Rise turns the PokéGear off with a sigh. She has not found anyone yet whom she could ask to travel with, so she's feeling rather down. Smiling on camera was easy. Keeping that smile after the cameras are off isn't as easy. Her Pokémon enjoyed the warm day immensely. Himiko kept playing tag with Nanako, Fukuro just let himself be resigned to his fate of horrible balance by just laying there on the ground and sleeping. Momomi and Sakuya are just happy to be exploring various little patches of grass in search of flowers.

It was a rather peaceful seen. Rise sits on the bench beside Ritsuko and grumbles. "I'm always tired now. Why can't there be cars or trains that take me everywhere. My feet hurt! It's not fair!" She looks visibly upset. "If the others were here, at least I'd have someone to travel with!"

I'm pretty sure I've seen some music stores around. It shouldn't be that hard to find some.

True. Or I can see if they have mp3 players instead. Those won't skip when I dance.

Yes, though those are probably pretty expensive... unless we can just download it to the Gear. Otherwise I guess we have to take our chances with the radio.

Mm... I'll ask one of my new friends if I can do that! He's a programmer, so he might know.

Okay. Computers aren't my specialty. I mean, I can navigate them all right, but my school was more math, science, and business focused.

I used them for research, and to see what my rankings were compared to the other idols!

We used to watch the rankings for the teams. Pretty much everyone our age watched the rankings for the dance teams. It was pretty intense sometimes.

How did it get decided which dance team was the best? Did you just dance against each other and were judged on your moves?

... That's how it used to be, yeah. Then people started having creatures fight each other to determine strength which... never made that much sense to me. It didn't have much to do with dancing... but some of the teams still tried to do it based on actual performances.
