History:
Original Persona + Social Link Section Only

Taking her from the Lover's Route, which adds dialogue of how much she loves the Protagonist. Unique events are added as the Social Link progresses, such as spending Christmas Eve with the Protagonist, spending New Years Day with him, and then Valentine's Day as well. It also adds the optional event where they get stuck in a cabin together during a blizzard on a school trip if the optional boss route is taken by the Protagonist. In the Lovers Route, she is a lot more open about engaging in adult activities with the Protagonist, even if she gets rejected by him. It also gives the option of them spending the night together when the Social Link is maxed, and at the end of the game, she declares her love for him as he leaves Inaba. She has these reactions at the end of the game even if the Protagonist chooses not to have her as a girlfriend. During the Epilogue, she gets jealous and reacts negatively when Marie publicly declares her love for him on television.

In Golden, she does take to the stage to sing a concert in front of a crowd at Junes, which doesn't happen in the original

Previous Game History: Rise arrive in Johto on March 9th, 2015. She didn't panic too much since she was used to places like the TV world, but it wasn't until she met a man named Ringabel that she finally broke down about how much arriving in Johto made her miserable. In Cherrygrove, she met a boy named Wirt who became her temporary traveling partner until she arrived in Violet City. Before that she had caught a Hoothoot named Fukuro with a balance problem that caused several people to not really take Rise seriously. She took the job offer to become the idol for Honeyed Souls during her time in Violet City, and was given bad directions from her new boss Killua in how to easily get to Goldenrod. It took her about a month to arrive in Goldenrod, having caught an Espurr she named Nanako to guide her, which ended up with her spending almost two weeks lost in Ilex Forest.

She arrived in Goldenrod in almost mid-April due to the getting lost bit. Her starter, an Eevee she named Himiko, evolved shortly after she arrived in Goldenrod City. She was able to start her job during this time. During this time, Labrys and her friend Momtarou Mikoshiba disappeared, which gave Rise the first taste of people close to her being taken out of the world, leaving behind some of their Pokémon for her to take care of. During the Dream Prom event, Ilya von Einsberg witnessed Rise's fear of her Shadow appearing again first hand and helped Rise overcome that fear. After the dream event, Rise felt closer to quiet a few of her friends, and made an unintentional friend out of Denzel Crocker.

She stayed in Goldenrod long enough to meet some new friends, one of them Chihiro Fujisaki, and then she decided to finally start the gym challenge in May. Her first gym battle against Whitney gave her a taste for victory. She was going to promptly go to Violet City to obtain the Zephyr badge so she could use Fly to travel. This was interrupted during the 4th Wall event, as her powers came back, and she decided to play a game of "Talk to me and I'll tell you where you are!" The wish event right after let her have an item from each of her friends as a token, and she lamented that she almost forgot her birthday. Her birthday was saved by her friends Denzel and Ringabel, so it wasn't all that bad a day for her.

After that she went straight to Kanto, filming her first ad for Honeyed Souls in Saffron City. During her time in Kanto, she was relatively quiet on the network, focusing instead on training and badges. When Teddie arrived in New Bark Town, Rise went back to Johto to help her friend out in his time of need. Since then, she left Teddie and Perry the Platypus in Violet in order to take care of some things in Goldenrod. It was there that she learned that one of her good friend Crocker had left, which left her spiraling into depression again, and extra mouths to feed since her left her 5 Eeveelutions. After a week of misery, Rise decided it was time to get back on the road. Her last move before arriving at Inugami was to call Chihiro to ask him about traveling with her towards Olivine.

Personality:
Rise Kujikawa is a cheerful, outspoken, cute, prideful, and flirtatious girl who is not above boasting about herself and her accomplishments. Her time as an idol and then a crime-solving student reflects these parts of her personality. Though that's not at all the full range of her personality.

Rise can be sweet and nice. If there are times when kindness is needed, she will be the girl for it. She is more than willing to let Nanako, a little girl, spend time with her, even letting Nanako know she will visit her and play with her. She shows more of how kind and sweet she can be when she finally realizes that she did indeed leave a lot of her fans behind when she stopped being an idol, reaching out to a little girl who admires her by writing an encouraging letter back to her.

She is not afraid to flirt and show off her body. Rise knows she is cute and has a nice figure, which she will flaunt if the occasion calls for it. She will intentionally pick outfits that she knows the protagonist might respond to, be it her bikini when they go to the beach which shows off and enhances her assets, or the kimono she wears for the first day of the new year, which gives her a more innocent appearance. She is big about her appearance, doing her best to always make herself appear attractive to the opposite, or even the same, sex.

She is more than happy to boast about herself, any compliment given to her by anyone other than the protagonist is met with a 'Of course! Did you expect any less?' attitude. She will also be the first to volunteer for something she knows she's good at, like the Ms. Yasogami High competition, where she is more than sure she will win because she is an idol and super popular.

She is not afraid to speak her mind, calling out anyone or anything she does not approve of. She calls out Yukiko on her inability to cook, despite not being a very good cook herself. Her bluntness can also be taken as her belittling someone, though this probably isn't intentional on her part. She is also not shy about her feelings, letting the protagonist know several times that she loves him and wants to be with him.

Rise is extremely loyal to her friends, and she loves them all in her own way. She loves the protagonist the most of them all, even if no social link is started with her, or the lovers route is not taken. She appreciates them when they return her affection and loyalty, such as when they were willing to help her out in a concert being held at Junes. She will also help them in battle by healing them when she can, and giving them tips on how to defeat their enemies, wanting nothing more than for them to win and get out of the battle alive.

Once she has decided on something, she will go all out. When she decides to help the main party go through dungeons and find the bad guy, her determination helps her and her friends in defeating the enemy, which in her case was finding out the weaknesses of the enemies and such. Her determination also translates outside of battle, when she once again decides to try her hand at being an idol and true to herself.

She is very capable of falling into depression, and her mood becomes rather sullen. When the main party meets her for the first time at her grandmother's tofu shop, she appears listless. Her speech is slower, and her mannerisms very subdued. She doesn't seem to care much about anything when she is in these slumps, rather wanting to be by herself, which is why she left the idol life behind.

Rise harbors a lot of self-doubt and insecurities as well. She tends to question a lot of things about herself, leading to her becoming withdrawn and quieter. These moods can either last a long time, such as when she's an idol, or they can be rather fleeting when she talks about them honestly with the main protagonist during the social link progression. She knows her insecurities are just a part of her, but that doesn't keep them from bringing her down. They stem from her feeling she has no individuality, that her idol persona has taken away all of what used to make Rise her own person, which is the main reasons she ran away from her fame.

She has quite a temper at times. If she doesn't get what she wants, she will throw a tantrum. When cooking for Nanako, she gets defensive and starts getting hysterical about being told her horribly over-spiced cooking was bad. She blames them for not having mature taste buds, only being placated in the end when Nanako tells her that she did enjoy it. She also does not like it when the protagonist shows interest in other girls, showing how possessive and childish she can be, pouting and telling him he can't call another girl 'cute'. She will even use crocodile tears when throwing one of her tantrums. She also does not take losing very well, as seen when she loses the Ms. Yasogami High competition.

Personality Changes:
Rise has become more caring towards others, it being most notable when she laments the fact that she doesn't know how to help Momtarou's Umbreon Chiisai and Labry's Eevee Jin from being sad. She asks the network for help, and decides then and there to really step up her game in caring for her Pokémon. It's after this that she starts referring to them as family instead of just her friends or her Pokémon.

She's gained the nickname Miss Down-With-Men from Nonon due to her lamenting about the fact that none of the guys there were her type, and that she actually had more fun teasing and flirting without actually having interest in them, and with some of them, springs it on them that she feels like they are brothers to her. She seems to be having fun flirting with both genders, most notably Kairi, whom she asked on a date that ended with them both wanting another.

Being an idol is the first and foremost thing in her mind because it helps her feel like she fits in better in this place that way. She has convinced Naminé to become an idol as well, so she's excited to have her own pupil.

She's at times more withdrawn due to friends leaving, reaching out for comfort without feeling ashamed about it afterwards. The amount of support she gets from other people there have made her even more appreciative of how kind people in Johto and Kanto could be.
