Maybe it's age difference. There are lots of adult women here, it'd probably be weird for them to hang out with teenage girls...and maybe they feel like, "well I'm not interested in girly stuff, if I hung out with other girls I'd have to do girly stuff"?
Maybe we'd need to tell them we're not all about girly stuff? I actually like battling, and that's not very girly. Hmmm... I don't know how to go about that unless I just tell them. What do you think?
[She does have one other friend who is a few years older she can ask about this, too.]
