Rise isn't too impressed with the big Pokémon. She had Kanji, who was curled up on the floor, sleeping. She was rather thankful that... he wasn't summoning a sandstorm right now. Battles still weren't fun when he started that.]
[Goro begins to mime out the actions of one playing a drum much like one would for a, well, drum roll, complete with his own brand of appropriate sound effects. Teddie waits a second or two before finally whipping out what he's been holding behind his back this whole time: a piece of paper.]

[It's a drawing. A drawing of Rise and her current roster. Granted, Teddie and his team aren't artists by any means, but it's at least easy to make out who is who. He went out and bought crayons just for this, and he seems pretty proud of himself. "Good luck" is written in Japanese, nice and large so no one can miss it.]
Everybody wanted to chip in, but uh...Yosuke isn't so good at drawing since he doesn't have, um, hands...
[He taps the corner of the paper, that seems to have a nice pink woobat nose print up there. He contributed in his own way.]
[Teddie must have been up to something big if he's taught one of his Pokémon to do a drum roll. At least he had showmanship. Teddie never seemed to do something with half a heart.
Rise blinks when she sees the paper. That wasn't... wow, that's so cute. She can't help but smile. This had to be the most touching thing anyone has done for her since she's come here. Rise smiles and steps forward, gently taking the picture from Teddie.]
I love it! This is so sweet, Teddie...
[She looks at the three Pokémon he brought with him, smiling even brighter.]
I'll make sure to win! You guys can come cheer me on if you want to~
[Everyone seems to light up in unison, big smiles all around when Rise says she loves it. Job well done, everyone! Mission accomplished. Maybe it's just because he's seen her down so many times since coming here, but Teddie really wanted to make Rise smile.]

I figured you would. This'll be your first time watching me battle at a gym! The last time it was a little too cold for me to take everyone with me.
