[The screen pops on, and there's a worried looking Rise with a shiny Eevee in her arms. The Eevee looks sad as well.]
I found this little guy in my box this morning. Seems he came from Labrys-san... Does this mean she's gone now? Jin is really sad, and even Himiko can't help him. She's a Sylveon now, but she can't get him to feel better.
Do Pokémon take a long time to get over the disappearance of their trainers like a human would? Or is it different for them?
[She's really, really worried. And sad. She was hoping to get to know Labrys better.]
[Being inside the Dojo all the time to practice was wearing her out. The commercial she was preparing for was a lot more intensive than she thought it would be. She was definitely out of practice.
So since it's Sunday, she decides it would be a perfect day to go out and about. Time to look for more people she knows! Practicing bit into a good chunk of the time she was here, so not a lot of exploring had been done.
If anyone is walking around Goldenrod, you'll see Rise walking around with a sad Eevee in her arms, Himiko the Sylveon at her side, and Nanako the Meowstic on her other side. Nanako is the only one of the four who doesn't seem all too perturbed with Labrys being gone. She was getting better at dancing. That's all that mattered to her.]
Do you think we'll find ni-chan today?
action
Pleased with his work, he hums to himself, stopping every now and then to greet passing women with a smile. It's then that he overhears Rise and promptly saunters her way.]
You never know. Perhaps he's closer than you think.
no subject
Ni-chan! There you are!
[Himiko recognizes him from the network and bounces right over to him. Hi!]
no subject
Were you looking for me this whole time?
[If so, then he really should have gotten in touch with her! Alas, work's a bit time consuming, and his mind's been... focused on more pressing thoughts.]
no subject
I've been here a month, and this is the first time I've seen you!
[Himiko does not mind the pets, wrapping her ribbons around his arm and chirping happily.]
no subject
[Agh. He really does need to set up one of those voice mailboxes. The technology's still a bit new to him, so it hadn't crossed his mind before.
The ribbons are a bit unexpected, and he gives them a puzzled glance before gently stroking them with his free hand. Mostly as an experiment. Are they feelers? Limbs? He's certainly intrigued.]
no subject
[She's pretty decent with technology! She has to be!
Himiko doesn't mind it. She does what she always does: send soothing feeling through her feelers. It's what she's good at. Friend!]
no subject
[He chuckles at the warm feelings coursing through him. It's rather nice! These Sylveons truly are something else.]
no subject
[Himiko chirps and goes back to join her trainer. Ringabel is nice!]
no subject
[He says, knowing it's blatant hyperbole, but he can't help it. His inner gentleman would hate to trouble her.]
no subject
[She steps up right next to him and nods.]
Show me your gear, and we can go from there!
no subject
[He pulls it out of his pocket, toggling to the main menu screen.]
Where do we begin?
no subject
There. Now all you need to do is set up a message for people to see when they get to your inbox.
no subject
[Cue an awkward laugh, while he rubs the back of his head.]
You have my thanks, Rise. Is there anything I can do to repay you?
no subject
[She thinks for a moment, then nods.]
How about you get me some ice cream~?
no subject
Of course. It just so happens that there's an ice cream parlor nearby, and I'd be thrilled to escort you.
[He gestures in its general direction, just to give her an idea of where to go.]
no subject
Alright~ I hope they have Pokémon safe ice cream~
[Himiko is now going to attach herself to Rise's arm as they walk.]
no subject
[Ah, so let's see. Just a few blocks down and around the corner. The shop should be fairly obvious, as it's marked by a light-up Vanilluxe sign.]
no subject
[She's never seen a Vanilluxe, so the sign makes her eyes go wide.]
Is that supposed to be a Pokémon?
no subject
[He's not a big fan of sugary foods, after all. With that said, he chuckles at her second remark.]
And I do believe it's a Pokémon. An ice type, if memory serves.
no subject
[What a weird Pokémon...]
I don't think I want one.
no subject
[It's blatant hyperbole; he knows even Edea has limits, but he can't resist a little joke every now and then.]
I doubt I'd capture one of these... Vanilluxe, either. I already have a Lapras, and I'd rather not collect too many of the same type.
no subject
[That's one she has to look up later. Sounds cute.]
I think as long as they get along with me, I'll catch anything.
no subject
[By the way, he's holding the door for her, like a proper gentleman.]
And yes, personality is important, though I'm sure some care more about battle capabilities.
no subject
[She walks in and smiles at him.]
All of mine are pretty strong~
no subject
[Heh. He'll wait until Himiko's safely inside before sliding in himself.]
And I certainly wouldn't mind seeing the rest of your team someday, though there's really no rush.
