[The screen pops on, and there's a worried looking Rise with a shiny Eevee in her arms. The Eevee looks sad as well.]

I found this little guy in my box this morning. Seems he came from Labrys-san... Does this mean she's gone now? Jin is really sad, and even Himiko can't help him. She's a Sylveon now, but she can't get him to feel better.

Do Pokémon take a long time to get over the disappearance of their trainers like a human would? Or is it different for them?

[She's really, really worried. And sad. She was hoping to get to know Labrys better.]

[Being inside the Dojo all the time to practice was wearing her out. The commercial she was preparing for was a lot more intensive than she thought it would be. She was definitely out of practice.

So since it's Sunday, she decides it would be a perfect day to go out and about. Time to look for more people she knows! Practicing bit into a good chunk of the time she was here, so not a lot of exploring had been done.

If anyone is walking around Goldenrod, you'll see Rise walking around with a sad Eevee in her arms, Himiko the Sylveon at her side, and Nanako the Meowstic on her other side. Nanako is the only one of the four who doesn't seem all too perturbed with Labrys being gone. She was getting better at dancing. That's all that mattered to her.]

Do you think we'll find ni-chan today?

I hope you're right. I guess I really won't know until he evolves.

Until he does, Rikki can handle him, right?

[That gets a small smile out of him.]

That's right. She can handle just about any Pokemon, I think.

[She looks down at Rikki with a big smile.]

You look really, really strong, you know. I'm sure you make the perfect bodyguard for Kaneki-kun.

[What else can she call it?]

[Rikki looks up at Rise when she addresses her, her long ears flicking upwards. Her red eyes squint for a moment before she finally responds by letting out a soft chitter, a lot less aggressive than her usual growls and snarls seem to be. He needs more than a single bodyguard, if we want to be honest, but she'll try.]

[This makes Rise very happy. That was such a cute noise! She nods and claps her hand together.]

Great! Every trainer needs a reliable Pokémon like you to keep them safe~

[Okay, now you're just flattering her. The Zangoose huffs and drops her head to her claws again, looking away with her tail flicking against Kaneki's ankles.]

She'll...probably get used to you eventually.

It's okay even if she doesn't. I like seeing Pokémon who really love their trainers.

[Himiko chirps and wiggles her feelers, as if to say I love my trainer a lot!]

See? She can let me know how she feels through the feelers.

[...You know, Kaneki hadn't actually realized that those bows on that Sylveon weren't bows, hang on just a dang second.]

...They're...feelers?

[Rise blinks. Did he not know?]

What did you think they were? If they were bows, how could she move them?

[Himiko feels it's demonstration time! She makes sure to skirt Rikki as she came up to Kaneki, putting her feelers on his arm. Then she does what she knows how to do best: send calming feelings through her feelers.]

[....alright that's weird.]

I...I don't know.

[He's not very versed on the newer Pokemon that have arrived in Johto yet, mostly because there isn't a ton of information in books about them yet. Kaneki stares down at the...feelers, his eyebrows knitting together as he examines them.]

So they're part of her body, then...and they're just there all the time?

[Himiko chirps and nods. The feelers attached to her neck wiggle as she keeps the others on his arm. See? She can move them like a squid.]

Since she doesn't have arms like we do, she can give me hugs with them. She also likes to hold my hand with them while we walk.

[As strange as that is, that's kindof cute.]

Well, that makes sense I guess.

[Pokemon are strange after all, so he shouldn't be too surprised.]

It's just kind of annoying at night when she sleeps by my feet. Waking up with tangled legs is not fun.
