Hi guys! Guess who's back in Johto? I forgot how quaint Cherrygrove was, and I wasn't even gone that long!

[She tilts her head with a sweet smile.]

Can anyone tell me where the best beaches in Johto are for the summer? Lakes or seas are fine, even a river~ I just want the best spot to go to and enjoy some beach fun! Any tip is appreciated. Thank you~

[Since Teddie arrived here, Rise was on a mission to come find him. There's tree boxes beside her as she looks around for the bear friend. Who thankfully did not have the bear suit with him. Himiko, her Sylveon, is copying her trainer in looking around for Teddie.]

He can't be that hard to find. Maybe he got himself a job!

[Perry nods. Well technically he could figure out talking but gosh lips are hard.

He then looks at Rise again curiously. What was she talking about again?]

[Perry's eyes brighten up with recognition as he nods. Yeah he knows who that guy is.]

You know Teddie?

[That's a surprise that this guy was admitting to knowing him.]

[To be fair like half of the reason Perry willingly associates himself with Teddie is because he almost instantly started calling him "Pops"

He nods again. He hasn't known him for too long but yes he does.]

I'm sorry. I know he's weird, but he's a good guy. Just... You just gotta be super patient with him sometimes. Oh! And he'll expect you to pay for everything. Since he probably won't get a job, I guess I can send you an allowance for him... I've got a pretty good job, so I don't mind.

[Perry lets out a noise that sounds like a mix between a laugh and a sigh. Yeah he knows about Teddie's refusal to work and he's been trying ever since he got here to get him a job.

Gosh he would probably be complaining about how bored he was so much less if he had a job too.

[Teddie had a job at Junes sometimes. And complained, complained, complained.]

I could always yell at him for you. You guys are gonna be traveling together for a while, right? If worst comes to worst, I could stick around for a few days. I've got a Noctowl, so anytime you need me to deal with him, I could be where you are in a few hours.

[This is a serious offer. She can handle Teddie just fine.]

[Perry looks momentarily surprised before furrowing his brows in worry. He's not sure he wants this girl to possibly leave something important just so that Perry's happier.]

[Good thing she can read expressions. Acting helps with that.]

Don't worry! I'm an idol who likes to travel. So it's no big. I can check in with my bosses over the Gear.

I'm Rise Kujikawa, by the way.

[Perry looks worried for a moment before quickly remembering that he bought a notebook and a pen the other day. So he takes the two items and jots something down before handing the paper to Rise.]

[Rise takes it and reads it.]

Perry.... Perry-san sounds weird... how about Mr. P since you're an adult?

[Perry thinks about it for a moment, before nodding. Yes, that seems like a nice enough nickname.]

Great! So then, Mr. P, what's your Pokémon?

[Perry gives Rise an unsure look before pulling a single Pokeball out and throwing it to the ground.

Out pops a Psyduck that sleepily looks over at his trainer before turning to Rise and giving her a small wave. It seems as if Perry had waken him up from a nap.]

[Rise takes out her Gear and uses the Dex to check it out.]

Huh. A Psyduck. Haven't seen one of these before.

[Nanako walks over to the Psyduck and pats his head. Hello there sleepy one.]

[The Psyduck seems to enjoy the head pat, making a "Psy" noise as she does so.

Perry then writes something else down to give to Rise, pointing to the Psyduck when he shows it.]

[Nanako nods. Want to be my minion?

Rise looks at the name and blinks.]

Bar... Bar..... Barty.

[Nope. She can't say it without tripping on her tongue.]

[Bartholomew just blinked and shrugged before Perry gives Nanako a sharp look. Don't act like he didn't hear that.

He then turns to Rise with a small shrug. Well "Barty" seems like a nice nickname anyway.]

[Nanako straight up ignores Perry's look, patting Bartholomew on the head. Great. We need to get you socks.

She laughs nervously.]

E-English is still hard sometimes.

[Psyduck blinks. Wait, why would he need socks?

Perry waves of the concern with a small smile. It's fine, learning another language is hard anyway.]

[Nanako shows off her socks. They're super comfy and keep your feet warm!]

I still don't get how I can understand everyone....
