[Here's an irritated looking idol on the network. She's bundled up in a white parka with matching pants, a pink scarf, and some earmuffs that look like Cleffa's. Rise is pouting at the screen.]

So much for my summer at the beach! First it's way too hot, then it wouldn't stop storming, and now snow? This isn't funny! All I wanted was a easy trip to Olivine, but no, I've been stuck here in Ecruteak the whole time!

[She turns her gear around to show an Empoleon, Oshawott, Meowstic, and a Sylveon playing in the snow. All but the Empoleon were wearing some kind of winter gear made for Pokémon.]

At least these guys are having fun... Does anyone know how to make hot chocolate that's safe for Pokémon? I think they'd like that after they're done playing.

[ooc: if you're in the Ectruteak area, feel free to interact with her that way.]

I think something is wrong with the climate of this place. I'd suspect the moon but it didn't make much sense, given it looks normal on most nights.

I... think regular hot chocolate is actually safe for pokemon, though, but they seem to enjoy it if it's made with Miltank milk. I've been giving my pokemon some with that and they seem to be enjoying it.

That's why I'm actually starting to doubt it. [He sighs and just shakes his head.] It has to be related to other factors. I wish I was near a library right now to do more research...

Mm.... I think it depends on the food in itself. They're nature-based creatures, much like normal animals back home; too much processed food may make them sick. I'm... not sure, though; mine steal from my plate all the time, and they haven't given me too much trouble. [There's a fond smile as he says this.]

Ah, you can but I prefer reading them physically. It's just a nuance but I find it easier to concentrate without the buzz of technology.

Then I think in that case you should be alright, especially if you're eating healthy. You may just have to hide your snacks!

A b-bookworm?! [He fiddles with his glasses, immediately ruffled.] I just like books, there's nothing weird with that!!

[He laughs.] Could I please take you to tell my friend from swim club? Eighty percent of his diet is snacks.

A-as long as it's not a bad thing. [He's used to being teased, it's kneejerk by now.

But after a few seconds, he lowers his hands to nod more clearly.
] I am. I was previously in on the track team, but I switched to swimming during first year.

You may just have to mix up where you read. I find it easier to read fictional material outdoors surrounded by the sounds of nature, and studying at a desk indoors. Sometimes the atmosphere changes help.

...I--I guess? I try to maintain a healthy amount of muscle mass and physical activity, but I've never thought of myself as particularly... strong.

Well, a library offers optimal studying, but sometimes some use background noise to assist with concentration. As long as the studying gets done, I guess? Food courts definitely do provide new scenery.

Hmm... Well, everyone ought to have some muscle. I guess it just depends on how much or how lean. I wouldn't say a muscular girl isn't cute, though; at least she is healthy, though I'd be worried she'd be easily able to punch me. [Valid concerns when you're friends with Gou.]
