[Here's an irritated looking idol on the network. She's bundled up in a white parka with matching pants, a pink scarf, and some earmuffs that look like Cleffa's. Rise is pouting at the screen.]

So much for my summer at the beach! First it's way too hot, then it wouldn't stop storming, and now snow? This isn't funny! All I wanted was a easy trip to Olivine, but no, I've been stuck here in Ecruteak the whole time!

[She turns her gear around to show an Empoleon, Oshawott, Meowstic, and a Sylveon playing in the snow. All but the Empoleon were wearing some kind of winter gear made for Pokémon.]

At least these guys are having fun... Does anyone know how to make hot chocolate that's safe for Pokémon? I think they'd like that after they're done playing.

I don't know how much that would help, since neither Teddie nor I have any badges yet.

But when I do have the appropriate badge and we find ourselves in this situation, I might take you up on that offer.

There is a ton of flying types here.

They're pretty easy to raise.

One good thing about the snow is that I was able to find Stacy (Amaura). They are apparently really good against flying types.

Oh yeah, I saw those running around. I wanted to catch a Mareep, but the weather was way too bad for me to try. Mareep are so cute!

[Sure enough, the door is slightly ajar. Inside, Perry is sitting on his bed with his Pokemon huddled around Perry, some of them nodding off.

The moment Perry notices Rise he waves over to her. Hey, good to see you again.]

[Rise returns the wave as she steps in.]

[Oh, sleepy Pokémon. Time to tone it down a bit.]

[Perry smiles at Rise before he gestures to a nearby chair. Well come make yourself at home Rise]

[She sits down, Nanako climbing into her lap.]

I'm still surprised you're here!

[Perry shrugged, looking kind of sheepishly. Well, they had intended to arrive earlier but, well, the weather this month has been unpredictable.]

But... I still don't get it. Why did you come here? It's way faraway from Violet, and the gym leaders here are a lot harder to defeat.

[Perry manages to look even more sheepish as he looks away. His Pokemon weren't strong enough when he came here so he figured that it would be a good idea to take a detour here and check out the sights, besides Teddie didn't really like Violet City anyway.

He... should really make it up to Teddie soon for doing this to him soon, now that he thinks of it.]
