[The screen pops on, and there's a worried looking Rise with a shiny Eevee in her arms. The Eevee looks sad as well.]

I found this little guy in my box this morning. Seems he came from Labrys-san... Does this mean she's gone now? Jin is really sad, and even Himiko can't help him. She's a Sylveon now, but she can't get him to feel better.

Do Pokémon take a long time to get over the disappearance of their trainers like a human would? Or is it different for them?

[She's really, really worried. And sad. She was hoping to get to know Labrys better.]

[Being inside the Dojo all the time to practice was wearing her out. The commercial she was preparing for was a lot more intensive than she thought it would be. She was definitely out of practice.

So since it's Sunday, she decides it would be a perfect day to go out and about. Time to look for more people she knows! Practicing bit into a good chunk of the time she was here, so not a lot of exploring had been done.

If anyone is walking around Goldenrod, you'll see Rise walking around with a sad Eevee in her arms, Himiko the Sylveon at her side, and Nanako the Meowstic on her other side. Nanako is the only one of the four who doesn't seem all too perturbed with Labrys being gone. She was getting better at dancing. That's all that mattered to her.]

Do you think we'll find ni-chan today?

It is kind of sweet. She loves you so much she wants to protect you!

[Rise is hoping she's never mauled anyone.]

[Not yet, thank god. Though she nearly broke his Gear trying to kill a Seviper through it, once.]

Yeah...I guess you're right. I mean, I really don't mind that she wants to look out for me...and I do appreciate it, but it's just a little...too much, sometimes.

Well, yeah, it could be. Especially if you ever wanted to get a girlfriend. She'd have to be willing to put up with Rikki...

[She couldn't do it. Then again, she doesn't feel that way about Kaneki.]

Y-yeah...I don't think I'll have to worry about that...any time soon, though.

[He's not really looking for a relationship anyway...but he knows that if he was, Rikki would make it impossible.]

You might not worry about it, but it could happen any time~

[That causes him to blush even deeper, his hand shifting against the side of his face as he looks down at the table.]

A-ahah, well....maybe someday, I guess...

[She's noticed his habit of touching the side of his face. It was endearing, but at the same time it made her really want to know why. She just had to tell herself 'no'! Being nosy was a fast way to lose friends. Unless it was Yosuke, and then it was sort of funny.]

That's the spirit! And who knows, maybe that person will be lucky enough to get Rikki's approval!

[It's more of a nervous habit than anything...half the time, Kaneki doesn't even realize he's doing it.]

Hah...that would have to be someone really special, I think.

You'll find them! Or they'll find you!

[She looks down at Rikki with a smile.]

I hope we can get along even just a little. And don't worry~ Kaneki-kun is nice, but he's not my type!

[At least she's honest.]

[Rikki glances up at Rise from beneath the table, watching her with something of a pout and a slanted gaze, but she isn't growling at her at least. Actually, hearing those words do seem to cause her hackles to lower a little, though she's still a bit tense around the other Pokemon.

And to that Kaneki just laughs nervously, leaning back in his chair so he can let his gaze wander a little without appearing too obvious about it.]

I uh...I think she'll get used to you, over time.

I hope so~ What kind of treats does she like? Since I work with a sweets shop, I can get her some~ Oh!

[She rummages through her bag and pulls out a small box and hands it to Kaneki.]

Here! It's a sampler pack I made up at work~ These are good for people and Pokémon!

Mm? O-oh- thank you, Rise-san. That's very nice of you.

[He takes the box carefully in his hands. By now, Phantom is watching curiously from the inside of his candle holder, his flame flickering a bit.]

And she likes most things, really...I think she's partial to pokepuffs though? I'm pretty sure that's what they're called.

Well, I said I would~ I keep my word!

[She has some of those! Rise reaches into her bag and pulls a pink one out, making sure to set it close enough to Rikki without touching her.]

Here you go~ My Pokémon mostly like spicy things, so I always have sweet ones left over~

[The Zangoose finally lifts her head from her claws, leaning over a bit to sniff at the pastry. Kaneki's actually surprised to see that she doesn't turn her nose up at it, but instead takes a bite once she thinks Rise isn't looking.]

I'm glad~

[Rise picks Jin up and the pastry he'd been nibbling on. He huffs, but continues eating when he realizes the food wasn't going anywhere.]

He's finally eating. That's good to see.

Oh- that's good. These pastries are pretty healthy for Pokemon, at least as far as I know...so he can have as many as he'd like.

I'll have to get some to go. I'm sure the others would like some, too. And if they're healthy, it's a plus~

That would be nice. Then they can have some when you're traveling again.

They'll love that~ Oh yeah...

[She starts petting Jin after he's done eating.]

I plan on going to Saffron in about a week or so, after my current job ends. Well, not ends ends. I need more inspiration for the next commercial!

I'm going to be traveling soon too, actually. ...or, I plan to try, anyway. I'm thinking about visiting Ecruteak, since it's not that far away.

Saffron is in the Kanto region, isn't it?

Ecruteak is that really old looking city, right? A friend of mine told me all about it! I'll go there someday.

Yup~ I won't be there for long. I'm just going there for inspiration!

That's right. I've heard from a few people now that it's a pretty nice place, so I'm interested to see what it's like.
