So much for my summer at the beach! First it's way too hot, then it wouldn't stop storming, and now snow? This isn't funny! All I wanted was a easy trip to Olivine, but no, I've been stuck here in Ecruteak the whole time!

[She turns her gear around to show an Empoleon, Oshawott, Meowstic, and a Sylveon playing in the snow. All but the Empoleon were wearing some kind of winter gear made for Pokémon.]

At least these guys are having fun... Does anyone know how to make hot chocolate that's safe for Pokémon? I think they'd like that after they're done playing.

There is a ton of flying types here.

They're pretty easy to raise.

One good thing about the snow is that I was able to find Stacy (Amaura). They are apparently really good against flying types.

Oh yeah, I saw those running around. I wanted to catch a Mareep, but the weather was way too bad for me to try. Mareep are so cute!

[Sure enough, the door is slightly ajar. Inside, Perry is sitting on his bed with his Pokemon huddled around Perry, some of them nodding off.

The moment Perry notices Rise he waves over to her. Hey, good to see you again.]

[Rise returns the wave as she steps in.]

[Oh, sleepy Pokémon. Time to tone it down a bit.]

[She sits down, Nanako climbing into her lap.]

I'm still surprised you're here!

[Perry shrugged, looking kind of sheepishly. Well, they had intended to arrive earlier but, well, the weather this month has been unpredictable.]

But... I still don't get it. Why did you come here? It's way faraway from Violet, and the gym leaders here are a lot harder to defeat.
